Freelance journalist, writer and editor

As a journalist, you’re often advised to ‘find a niche’. I’m glad to say I haven’t wholly done that, because it keeps things interesting. My work broadly covers society, women’s rights and health, culture and lifestyle, and I’m particularly interested in writing that explores potential solutions to challenging societal problems.

Before I went freelance in 2021, I worked at Stylist magazine for five years, wearing several hats at different points during my time there. As women’s editor, I spearheaded #AFearlessFuture, Stylist’s campaign calling on the government to invest in preventing male violence against women, and was deputy editor of the publication’s flagship email newsletter.

I trained at City, University of London, where I gained an Distinction in Magazine Journalism (MA) in 2016.
